Deadpool and Wolverine news as one of its stars says it is the type of story the MCU needs right now. Karan Soni who plays Dopinder says it was a long time coming thinking MCU fans will like the movie.
“It’s a long time coming, but it was one of those things — where because it was such a long time — it’s gotten really good. The script was really good. It was in a very good place… There was a version of [the script] before Hugh Jackman said yes. Because they waited because he said yes — I think it’s all the things combining and I think it’s coming at the right time for the MCU, which is in need of something fresh. And I would not bet against Ryan.” Soni talking to US Weekly
This is touching on the fatigue issue as many say people are getting tired of hero and comic book movies. Deadpool stories are the rune of the mile hero tales. As such this combination between him and Wolverine should be a nice change of pace for things.
