Jujutsu Kaisen is a hit and as such it is being compared to other Shonen Jumps. One comparison is to Naruto. On one hand it makes but on the other there are differences.
Lets look at the basic similarities. We have teams with one leader and 3 students who are 2 boys and one girl. The teacher is very skilled with one of the boys showing talent the girl has her presence to back them up (as that was Sakura role back then) with one of the boy having demonic spirits inside they can use to increase there powere.
But for all of those similarities there are also differences. Yes many people think of Naruto but it is because of the team structure. Naruto did well and the team structure in Jujutsu is the same. But while the structure is the same the characters are different.
Jujutsu Kaisen characters show emotion range. This might have something to do with ages as Naruto and the others are young when we meet them. But these teenagers show more range from Yuji being the person who has no trouble jumping into the fray without thinking with his sub par above human abilities yet is the newest person here and thus we see him adjusting. We saw this in ep 4 as despite having said he would have no regrets in dying he still didn’t like the fact and was letting it all out.
This also goes for Nabora who shows that she does have some of Sakura traits but also her own that make stand out more than Sakura did. At the same time the fact that she does have these moments to be on the same side of Yuji she has no problems letting them all on her team have it.
Then we have Megumi who again has a lot of talent the same way Sasuke did for Naruto but he is not like survivor of the Uchiha clan who was consumed with rage and just focused on that before and after the time skip. It is on his mind as what his father did to his sister or had a hand in doing has caused him to seek to help good people. This is why he helped Yuji.
Now this bring us to Gojo who is being compared to the copycat ninja Kakashi. I can see why he is compared to him but at the same time Gojo is cooler to me as he seems to again have more range and expression. (Maybe it helps that his eyes are covered and not his mouth but who knows.) At the same time his skill from what the last episode showed has him more of Jiraya or 4 hokage as he is so skilled that the enemy says if we want to win he has to go.
I guess then what I am saying is that I see why they are compared and it is understandable but at the same time there are difference.
