Shonen Jump on Twitter: "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Ch. 58: Sarada's got her hands full trying to install discipline into her new teammate, Kawaki! Read it FREE from the official source! https://t.co/zowbed4ccA…

First I have to double check the title but it is what you are reading as the official title for this chapter. Makes you wonder who is who doesn’t it. But lets focus on how the chapter starts with Naruto letting Boruto now about the drugs. Naruto tells his son to think things through way your options. Keep in mind we don’t know if this will really do anything for Boruto so we need to take it easy with this and Boruto just downs a pill.

First off it is nice to see a comical face form Naruto adult self as that is rare we see it. But with that said Naruto shock is comical but is understandable as to him this was something that will take Boruto some time to decide as it is a big deal. Mean while the reader knows that it isn’t. This isn’t Boruto 1st time thinking about his life when making a big decision. When Jigen attacked Boruto asked Sasuke to kill him if Momoshiki took over. For Code Kawaki and Boruto made the bet on his life knowing well it might not work. So for Boruto this was an easy decision to make as he had to make a few of them that are similar already.

The thing is this throws Boruto and Kawaki plan out of the window. Something that doesn’t seem to sit well Konoha 2nd newiest resident. But it seems Kawaki is just touchy in general as we see he is aggressive towards everyone. Kawaki wants to train and spare the same way he did with Jigen which was not holding back with the exception of death or major injury. The thing is that is not how the leaf has been training and it brings Kawaki and Boruto into a fight where the winner has to do what the other one says.

Now the fight is starts with punches as the 2 throw down but it is how it ends. Boruto is still able to use Karma where as Kawaki cannot at this point. I am saying at this point as we learn that he will get back as he has it in the time skip. But for here this shows an issue with him not having it as he is used to fighting with it.

As such Kawaki has to not only get stronger but also unlearn relying on karma as a trump card. That is not all though as now Boruto technically has no one to spare with when dealing with the Karma. Kawaki wasn’t just seen as a rival but a way to help Boruto control the Karma. With him not having it anymore Boruto Will have to find another way to master it.

Now Kawaki is defeated and realizes he doesn’t have enough strength to protect the 7th something he wants to do considering he is the first person to show him kindness. This urge to get stronger reminds many of Sasuke when he was younger before he left the village. While Sasuke wanted to do for revenge Sasuke Kawaki is doing it to protect and that is something Boruto and the other want him top learn about. He is not alone in that regard as ninjas of the leaf it is there job to protect it. And as Kawaki makes sure he gets the last word the chapter ends with him calling Boruto unreliable.
