King of Fighters XV when we first stared to get news mentioned alternate customs might be thing. This got many thinking about the idea that if you don’t like what you character is wearing then you can switch out. Since then though we didn’t really hear anything about. Even now we have only heard of 2 and it is not like what we thought. This leads us to wonder how these alternative customs are going to be handled.
1st lets talk about the customs we have heard about. With the first major trailer show more than a few characters and gameplay we were told about 2 DLC customs. 1 for Leona allowing you to dress her up as she was from kof 97 to 2003. As for Terry, you can give him his Garou Mark of the wolves look that he also had for the majority of the Ash saga. The thing about this is that these are the only 2 we have heard of with the biggest not being they are DLC.
When SNK first mentioned alternative outfits there was a thought you would just have them as you did in Maximum Impact 2. Not as many but you won’t have to pay for them as extra. With Terry and Leona, we see it might be like XIV where we do get other outfits, but it will be DLC for certain characters. At least that is what it seems
Seems to be is all I can say SNK hasn’t mentioned it again since the little bit at the beginning of the updates for the game. Since than we have only focused on 2 of the roasters cast. So did SNK just meant more DLC outfits? Or did they change their minds. I hope we do get alternative customs for all as I would like to change outfits for characters like Kyo or Athena. At the same time I am worried as to what outfit they would give characters like K or Kukri. Still it would be cool to have the choice. As such I hope we do get more then 2 outfits. But we will see.
