Since Black Panther 2 was rumored to be a thing fans have been wondering who the enemy would be. Along the while there was talk of Doom having some presence in the movie. This is due to Doom War as during that time is when Shuri was crowned Black Panther. As such with her being the big hero this time around it did make sense. But as we learn from producer Nate Moore it seems that was never the case.
“It wasn’t to be quite honest. Although I get why, and he’s such a great character in the world of Latveria and Ryan is a fan. But once we decided Namor was going to be the antagonist, that was always going to be the focus..” Nate More
This also probably came up as many want to see the MCU take on Doom. Moon Knight touched on it with the character it seems to be in Latervia driving one of his trucks. But fans want to see the man. The character. A hunger they will have to for longer it sees as Doom is not in this movie.
