King of Fighters XV season 2 road showed off 2 silhouettes who will be joining Shingo, Kim, Sylvie and Najd. One was a male which discussed was to me either Kain or Duo Lon. The other we will look at today and speaks to me either Hinako or Shinon.
Lets start with talking about Hinako. A little Sumo girl introduced in KOF 2000. There isn’t much story to her. Part of the woman team she is kind as well as shy. But Hinako is described as loyal. We don’t have much story on her as she wasn’t that big of a character. But she rose in popularity. We saw this with 2002 UM getting role back. The game grew in popularity which in turn allowed characters like Hinako to come back into fans minds as they got to see what made her good again. I think that is the big thing to her but we wil see.
Then there is Shion. Shion is a mid boss from the As saga. He appeared in KOF XI and is one of the few survivors from the group those from the past. Saiki version of the Orochi. Unlike Hinako Shion was never playable. But that hasn’t stopped fans asking SNK him playable. Him as Shion is a dude. They were planning to make him a female but they changed there minds.
This is of course going on the idea we are right. These are guesses based on silhouettes that SNK has shown they are good at messing with us at. As such we will have to see where this goes when SNK reveals more about the game.
