DC news today as James Gunn spoke about the green lantern series on Instagram. There he confirmed new writer to the project. Gunn posted confirmed Tom King, Damon Lindelof and Chris Mundy. Gunn announced this giving the writers a nice welcome. At least those new to the DC studio family they are building.
“Yes, it’s true. The Lanterns DCU series is putting together a crack team of writers, based on a wonderful pilot script and bible by Chris Mundy, Tom King, and Damon Lindelof. A hearty welcome to Chris and @damonlindelof as they join the DC Studios family (no welcome necessary for old @tomking_tk, who has been here nearly since inception).”
To give some perspective Tom King wrote some big stories such Heroes in Crisis as well as Batman and Catwoman. Damon Lindelof for his part was part of shows such as HBO watchmen tv series and Lost. Chris Mundy was a writer or criminal minds and low winder sun. Combined we should get an interesting show from what they come up with but we will see.
